CHIMNEY  PRO  provide comprehensive chimney cleaning services using SnapLockTM  the latest rotary POWER SWEEPING equipment in conjunction with local exhaust ventilation supplied by specialist Industrial "Hepa" filtered vacuums, to ensure a cleaner professional job is carried out each and every time. Traditional methods of sweeping your chimney are also employed where it would be more suitable for your chimney to be cleaned using rods and brushes. Following the clean every chimney is smoke draw tested with a minimum of 5 cubic meters of smoke to ensure the chimney is drawing or 'breathing' correctly.  
Insurance Approved Certificates Issued
It is important to use the service of a qualified and registered chimney sweep, who will issue a valid certificate of safety and cleanliness following sweeping, that can be presented to an insurance company in the case of a claim. A number of household insurance companies are including clauses in the small print of policies with regards to solid fuel fires or stoves . These clauses invalidate the insurance liability when a claim is made if the chimney or flue has not been swept and it is found to be the cause of the claim.
Smoke Sound Test and CCTV Inspection
A full smoke sound test is used to determine the soundness and structural integrity of flue system in conjuction with a CCTV inspection and are useful for: Assessing damage after a chimney fire, Producing video evidence for insurance claims, Before or after house purchases or Investigation of blockages such as bird's nests or collapsed brickwork all tests comply with Part J Schedule 1 of the Building regulations. A copy of the video inspection and report is issued to the client at the time of the survey.

Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarms Fitted
Landlords are required by law from the 1st October 2015 to install smoke alarms on each floor in all rented residential accommodation and carbon monoxide alarms in rooms with a solid fuel appliances (such as a wood burning stoves). There is also a duty under the Building Regulations  to fit an cabon monoxide alarm in all properties when a solid fuel appliance is installed.
